The Brazilian butt lift is typically a surgical procedure which uses liposuction. Fat is removed from unwanted areas like the tummy, thighs, waist, and back, and this then transplanted in the buttocks. The benefits are two-fold, gaining both a full backside with a slimmer physique overall. While a complete nonsurgical option does not exist, a combination of nonsurgical procedures can achieve a similar effect.
How Does It Work?
Depending on the client, a couple of options may be considered. Ultherapy®, a skin-lifting and tightening solution, may be used to help achieve greater contour around the buttocks and stimulate collagen growth for a fuller appearance. Typically Ultherapy® treatments may take 3 – 6 months to achieve natural-looking results. This option is completely noninvasive and there is no downtime.
Dermal fillers may be an option as well. Sculptra®, FDA-approved for the treatment of facial wrinkles, can fill pockets and wrinkles, reduce cellulite, and provide a smoother more shapely appearance to the buttocks immediately. Sculptra®, injected in a series over 3 – 6 months, can also stimulate the production of collagen, adding to the desired full and firm shape.
Other products like Coolsculpting may be used in combination as well to achieve the desired slimmer physique offered by liposuction.
Are There Side Effects?
A non-surgical Brazilian butt lift is not a typical or standardized treatment, so known side effects are limited to those possible with on-label use of the products. Some may experience mild pain or swelling when receiving dermal fillers.
Is This Right For Me?
Suggested treatments to achieve a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift incorporate off-label uses of these products, and ultimately cannot achieve the dramatic results of surgery. Nonsurgical treatments are limited in scope based on the client’s type, and desired goals may not be attainable for some. A consultation with your doctor is necessary to assess whether a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift will achieve your goals.
